On November 23, 2018, the American Bar Association published a feature article entitled, “Independent Contractors Might Actually Be Employees,” which examines the Supreme Court of California’s recent employment law decision in Dynamex Operations West, Inc. v. Lee.
Cheyenne N. Chambers offered her opinion on Dynamex, stating in part: “I am happy that the court has embraced a more employee-friendly standard that resonates with the objectives of the state’s protective legislation.” The article can be found here.
